Kenneth S. Austin, M.D. is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon (ABOS). A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Benjamin Franklin Honors program, he received his M.D. from New York University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Bellevue Hospital/NYU Medical Center and went on to do a fellowship at Harvard’s Massachusetts General Hospital.
He is a member and past President of the Rockland County Medical Society. He has served as Chief of Orthopedic Surgery at Good Samaritan Hospital and was President and Founder of the Ramapo Valley Surgical Center. He is listed as a “Physician Leaders to Know” in Becker’s ASC Review and was named ‘Top Doctor’ 10th Anniversary in the New York metro area by Castle Connolly and ‘Top Doctor’ in Hudson Valley Magazine.

He continues to see patients in private practice and provides consulting services with expertise in ambulatory surgical services administration and development. He has a wealth of general orthopedic experience and is available to perform independent medical examinations (IME) as well as chart, record and peer reviews. He has trial and deposition experience for both plaintiff and defense as an expert witness as well as defense malpractice experience.
